PROJECTS
Historically, Candomblé houses have a fundamental role in the development of social inclusion policies in their surroundings. Actions ranging from the donation of food, clothing to Solidarity Economy, Education and Culture Projects.
Following the tradition of historic African-based houses of religion, the Foundation aims to become a reference in social inclusion projects, already having a wide range of activities in the personal and family restructuring of people in vulnerable situations.
Currently, it has maintained the Sacred Kitchen and Alquimia das Artes Projects with its own resources, resulting from donations from members of the religious community.
These Projects, maintained by the Foundation, also enable greater knowledge about the real needs that the surrounding population face and, therefore, directing their efforts in the search for an organized and continuous practice that brings effective results for social transformation.

Projeto Cozinha Sagrada
Esse Projeto iniciou há um ano em meio à Pandemia. Por isso, tivemos poucos momentos em que pudemos realizar as oficinas.
Trabalhamos assim, de forma virtual, gravando as receitas que fizemos com contribuição de voluntárias que doaram seu tempo e seus saberes.
Esperamos nesse próximo ano poder realizar o Projeto em todo seu potencial: no modelo de geração de renda e de acolhimento às pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade social.
Num momento econômico-social tão sensível do nosso país, onde milhões de pessoas se encontram em situação de insegurança alimentar, um Projeto como o Cozinha Sagrada, é exatamente necessário, ensinando diversas formas de geração de renda através do fazer culinário, ao mesmo tempo em que também faz a distribuição de alimentos aos participantes.
Estamos abertos à contribuição e participação de quem, como nós, tem como objetivo o atendimento e acolhimento de indivíduos e famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social, combatendo a fome e as desigualdades que, infelizmente, são um problema crônico em nosso país.
O nosso trabalho é aberto à tod@s, independente de profissão religiosa, de raça, de orientação sexual ou gênero.

ALQUIMIA DAS ARTS PROJECT
Building a more humanized society
The Alquimia das Artes Project aims to use art, present in the daily life of African-based religions, as a mediator in the process of demystifying signs, symbols and deities worshiped in Candomblé and Umbanda.
Leading its participants to understand the extent of the influence of this culture in the formation of the Brazilian social fabric in its various aspects.
With this project, we hope to strengthen its performance in the community where it operates and, through its activities to combat human rights violations - violations that, not infrequently, have intimidated or even prevented followers of African-based religions from freely practicing their rites and having their ancestral culture and religiosity respected and preserved – contribute to the development of a less violent and more humanized society.
